Office of the Special Adviser on Education

The administration of former Governor of Lagos State, Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu created the office of the Special Adviser on Education to ensure an education system that holds all public schools accountable for education performance.
 

The Office performs the following function among others:

Oversees Agency for Mass Education, Scholarship Board and Library Board

It supervises and monitors Tertiary Institutions in the State.

Advisory Committee on education.

Oversees matters affecting Lagos State Endowment Fund.

Continuing Education.

Monitoring and investigation of educated- related matters.

Policy and control of adult Education.

State scholarship and bursary awards.
