A Sayreville High School special-education teacher has been accused of allegedly sexually assaulting two 16-year-old boys. A news release on Friday by Acting Middlesex County Prosecutor Andrew Carey and Sayreville Police Chief John Zebrowski said that Jaclyn P. Melillo, 25, of Sayreville, was arrested and charged Thursday with two counts of sexual assault, a second-degree offense, and two counts of endangering the welfare of each child, also a second-degree offense.
An investigation carried out by Investigator James Kelly of the Middlesex County Prosecutor’s Office and Detective Lou Becker of the Sayreville Police Department revealed that Melillo sexually assaulted both boys individually on multiple occasions during the summer.
