How to get admission into Model Colleges in Lagos State

The only means through which you can get your child/ward admitted into any of the Model Colleges in Lagos State is through the yearly Screening Test organized by the State’s Examinations Board. It is also important to note that it is impossible to transfer students from private, public schools or even a Model into any of the Colleges.

All the Model Colleges except Vetland Grammar School have boarding facilities, hence, no admission of the day- students. 
 
The Model Colleges in Lagos State are listed below:
  •      Lagos State Model Junior/Senior College, Kankon, Badagry 

  •      Lagos State Model Junior /Senior  College, Badore, Lagos

  •      Lagos State Model Junior/Senior College, Meiran, Alimosho

  •      Lagos State Model Junior/Senior College, Igbokuta, Ikorodu

  •      Lagos State Model Junior/Senior  College, Igbonla, Epe

  •       Lagos State Civil Service Model Junior/Senior College, Igbogbo

  •      Lagos State Model Junior/Senior College, Agbowa-Ikosi, Agbowa

  •     Oriwu Model Junior/Senior College, Ikorodu


  •     Government Junior/Senior College, Ikorodu

  •     Government Junior/Senior College, Ketu- Epe

  •      Badagry Junior/Senior Grammar School, Badagry

  •       Epe Junior/Senior Grammar School, Epe

  •       Eva- Adelaja Memorial Junior/Senior Secondary School, Bariga

      Apart from the Model Colleges, you can get your child/ward admitted into other public schools in the State through the yearly entrance examinations (Placement Examinations).

  1. Take for example if I wish to transfer my ward from public school as a student of JSSIII to resume or admitted as SSI student at one of the model college. Is this possible?
