British Council Visits Oloja of Epe

The British Council and the Lagos State Ministry of Education, led by the Commissioner, Barrister Olayinka Oladunjoye, on Sunday, April 7th, 2013 visited Oba Kamarudeen Animashaun, the Oloja of Epe in his Palace in Epe Local Government Area of Lagos State. 

The Royal Father used the occasion to solicit the support and assistance of the British Council to boost the education system and empower teachers in the State to enhance the teaching and learning process.

In her reactions, the Commissioner, who is also an indigene of Epe, expressed her profound gratitude to the team for the visit stating, "I hope the collaboration between the British Council and the Lagos State Government will further improve the education system in the State."

While acknowledging the warm reception, the team leader expressed her appreciation to the entire community for the rich and exciting cultural display and the gifts saying “You are so wonderful in the way you present your culture.”
