Karuga Jailed for Raping a Cow

Jackson karuga, a 35 year old Kenyan has been sentenced to 14 years imprisonment for allegedly raping a cow. He told the court that the death of his father and the subsequent responsibility of taking care of his siblings forced him to commit the act as he was unable to marry.

The magistrate dismissed the reasons given by Jackson saying that the fact that he was not married did not mean he would have married the cow. she hope the jail term would serve as a deterrent to others who are in this kind of act.
